Dr. Liora Mascal Elias is a University professor and certified Enneagram practitioner who specializes inpersonal and professional development through the lens of the Enneagram. For nearly 15 years, they have taught in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, earning their PhD in 2015.
Their work integrates deep expertise in communication, sexuality, and human
development with a relational approach to Enneagram education. As a queer and nonbinary facilitator, Dr. Elias brings a differentiated lens to Enneagram work that centers
the unique relational and community needs of LGBTQ+ individuals and teams.
They have worked with clinical supervisors, group therapy practices, nonprofit leaders, and organizations to foster growth, increase emotional intelligence, and support inclusive leadership.
Dr. Elias now offers “Using the Enneagram in Your Therapy Practice”, a 3-session training series for clinicians approved for 3 CE credits by the Minnesota Board of Psychology. This training helps therapists integrate Enneagram insight into ethical, relational, and growth-oriented practice.

Enneagram MBA, and Enneagram & Love.
Dr. Elias has also consulted with public figures, including Sam Mark of Netflix’s The Ultimatum: Queer Love, and is known for helping clients raise consciousness, honor boundaries, and better understand their instinctual motivations.
